SITUSSULTRA.com-Southeast Sulawesi Province, abbreviated as Sultra, is a province on the island of Sulawesi.
This province was officially established on April 27, 1964, based on Government Regulation (Permen) in Lieu of Law (Perpu) Number 2 of 1964 and Law Number 13 of 1964.
Initially, Southeast Sulawesi was a regency within the Province of South and Southeast Sulawesi (Sulselra), with BauBau as its capital. Since becoming an autonomous region in 1964, the capital of Southeast Sulawesi Province has been established in Kendari.
Southeast Sulawesi Province, nicknamed "Land of the Anoa," has an area of 38,067.70 km2, and its administrative area is divided into two cities, 15 regencies, 222 sub-districts, and 2,318 villages. (nt)
